Dr. Christian Sirois

Dr Christian Sirois graduated from Laval University’s medical school, in 1992 and completed is specialty in General Surgery in 1997. He subsequently did a two year residency in General Thoracic Surgery at the University of Toronto and finally completed another two more years of fellowships in Cardiothoracic Surgery in Chicago.

Dr Sirois has obtained his certificate in Thoracic Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) and from the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at McGill University and thoracic surgeon staff at the McGill University Health Center and at the Jewish General Hospital since 2001.

His main clinical and research area focus on lung cancer including carcinoid tumour and epidemiology.

Dr Christian Sirois a obtenu son diplôme de médicine de l’université Laval en 1992 et a par la suite terminé une spécialité en chirurgie générale en 1997. Il a par la suite complété deux années de résidence en chirurgie thoracique a l’université de Toronto et finalement deux autre années de fellowship en chirurgie cardiothoracique a Chicago.

Dr Sirois a obtenu son diplôme en chirurgie thoracique du collège royal des chirurgiens du Canada (FRCSC) et de l’American Board of Thoracic Surgery. Il est assistant professeur au département de chirurgie de l’université McGill et chirurgien au centre universitaire de sante McGill et a l’hôpital général juif.

Ses intérêt clinique et de recherche se concentre sur l’oncologie pulmonaire incluant les tumeurs carcinoïde et l’épidémiologie clinique.
