Al Driedger MD, PhD, FRCPC, FACP, FACPE

Dr Al DriedgerDr Al Driedger has worked at London Health Sciences Centre since 1972.

He was the founding Chief of Nuclear Medicine at Victoria Hospital (1980-90) and VP Medicine (1990-94). He is a former President of the Canadian Association of Nuclear Medicine.

He is currently Professor Emeritus at University of Western Ontario. His recent clinical focus has been on thyroid diseases, including cancer.

His degrees are: MD (1963, University of Saskatchewan), PHD (1967, University of Saskatchewan; Biochemistry), FRCPC (1973 and 1976, internal medicine and nuclear medicine), FACP (1974), and FACPE (1998).

Dr Driedger has contributed to the publication of about 200 peer-reviewed papers.
