How Can I Help?
The Carcinoid-NeuroEndocrine Tumour Society-Canada is still a fledgling corporation. So, here’s your opportunity to get in on the ground floor and make a difference. We need your help.
There are many ways that you can help us reach our goals. Here are just a few:
- Donations
Of course financial assistance is always appreciated and will go toward our aim to raise awareness about Carcinoid and related Neuro Endocrine Tumours. Last year we were able to organize our first annual joint Patient & Doctor conference in Canada, which included some of Canada’s foremost carcinoid doctors as well as Sweden’s Dr. Dan Granberg. - Join one of our Task Forces
Not everyone has the means to make a donation, but they may have some time to offer by helping out on one of our Task Forces. These are the people that are working behind the scenes to keep our Society in motion. - Share your Story
Are you or someone you know a Carcinoid NeuroEndocrine patient? Talk about it. Share your personal experience. It will be posted online so that others can benefit from what you’ve been through. - Join a Support Group or
Start One
One of the aims of CNETS Canada is to provide emotional support to those suffering from Carcinoid and related NeuroEndocrine Tumours. Sharing with other Carcinoid NETS patients is a great way to start. - Donate Your Talent
CNETS is always on the lookout for new fundraising ideas. Have you got a hidden talent? Maybe you’re an artist or a quilter or a crafter. We will be offering products to be auctioned, sold or raffled. Your talent might be just what we need. - Your Business Can Help
Are you in business? We need your services. Are you a printer, a travel agent, an events coordinator, a hair salon? We can auction or raffle gift certificates, in kind gifts, or products from your company to raise funds for Carcinoid and NeuroEndocrine awareness. - Share your Ideas
