Canadians Share NET Cancer Facts on Video from Coast to Coast to Coast to Celebrate World NET Cancer Awareness Day
November 10 is World NET Cancer Awareness Day.
On September 24, and 25, 2011, NET Cancer patients, caregivers, family, friends, medical researchers, and medical professionals were part of a Canada-wide effort to raise awareness, in both official languages, of NET Cancer. CNETS Canada is thrilled to present these videos, which also successfully raised desperately needed funds for NET Cancer research in Canada. The videos are also part of a group of excellent videos from various counties including the UK, Holland, the US, Australia, France, Germany, Bulgaria, and Singapore, to appear on November 10 on the www.netcancerday.org site.
There is a French version of this video, here.

Steve Jobs' passing a Catalyst for NET Cancer Awareness

CNETS Canada Nationwide Fundraising Walk for NET Cancer Research
Support the fight against NeuroEndocrine Cancer by participating in our nationwide fundraising walk on November 5th. Proceeds from these fundraising events will be directed towards CNETS Canada's NET Cancer Research Initiatives for 2012. Everyone can contribute, here's how!
Join An Existing Walk
Participate in a walk already underway in your area and fundraise as part of the group. You can utilize a group Giving Page created on Canada Helps or establish your own while working with your local group to advertise your walk. Want to know if there is a local group fundraising in your area already? Send an email to info@cnetscanada.org and we'll let you know.
Organize Your Own Walk
Request a customizable flyer template for distribution to your target audience.(Example here.) Again, a Giving Page can be created on Canada Helps using the attached instructions, which will facilitate online donations and/or maintain a pledge sheet for any cheque or cash donations. Pick a location and time, set your own walk distance goal and fundraising target, gather your friends and supporters and away you go!
Donate Your Time
If you are not in a position to fundraise or join a walk, perhaps consider volunteering to assist with the organization of the event or host the merchandise sales/NET Cancer information table at a particular location on the day of the walk. Let us know if you're interested.
Donate Now
Send your donation in support of the walk via Canada Helps or send cheques to the attention of Vernon Holt, Secretary Treasurer CNETS Canada to 1608 Blakely Drive, Cornwall, Ontario, K6J 5P4. Tax receipts will be issued for all donations.
Please do not hesitate to contact us at info@cnetscanada.org with any questions.
