Dr. Manoranjan Chowhan graduated from Maharaja Krishna Chandra Gajapati Medical College, Bermapur, India, in 1986. Following a fellowship in Internal Medicine, he completed post-graduate training at the Radiation Medicine Centre (part of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre) in Mumbai. He earned his DNB (Diplomatae of National Board of Examination) in Delhi.

Dr. Chowhan has worked as Senior Registrar at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Since then, he has been working in various medical institutes in India and overseas as a consultant, besides having teaching assignments.

Currently, Dr. Chowhan is heading the Nuclear Medicine Unit in the premier medical center in Western India and is involved in several clinical trials. His areas of interest include the early detection of cancer using radiotracers, including in neuroendocrine tumours. Besides therapy, he is involved in sentinel node imaging and radio-guided surgery.
